About ABA

Applied Behavior Analysis commonly known as ABA Therapy is the most effective evidence-based  intervention for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related developmental disabilities. ABA Therapy applies researched based strategies in order to decrease maladaptive behaviors and at the same time it promotes learning and appropriate replacement behaviors. Natural Environment Training (NET)

Natural Environment Training (NET) or Incidental Teaching consists of teaching the skills in the natural environment taking advantage of natural occurring opportunities and natural consequences. 

Discreet Trial Training (DTT)

Discrete Trial Training is a method of teaching a skill in simplified and structured steps. Every simple step is tought and rehearsed in order to achieve mastery and fluency in the overall skill. Opportunities to practice these skills are planned and organized in advance by the Behavior Analyst and Behavior Therapist. 

Support and Collaboration

In order to obtain the best results from ABA Therapy, Behavior Analysts collaborate with other professionals that are part of the client's life like school staff members, doctors, psychologist, counselors and other therapists that can assist with their input in the Development and Implementation of an effective Behavior Support Plan.
